Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra Commences in Udhampur

UDHAMPUR, Nov 26: The Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra was officially launched today in the Udhampur District.
The Yatra began from twin Panchayats of Rehmbal upper Khatrayar and Panchayat Chopra Shop.
The inauguration took place in the presence of Additional District Development Commissioner Ghan Sham Singh, DDC member Puran Chand, and Assistant Commissioner Development Dr Ranjeet Singh Kotwal.
The yatra commenced in the aforementioned Panchayats, where the locals embraced Information, Education, and Communication (IEC) initiatives with great enthusiasm.
The ADDC Ghan Sham Singh praised the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra for its initiative to reach out to the vulnerable population eligible under various schemes but yet to get benefit.
The event witnessed an overwhelming response from PRI members and locals, who gathered around IEC points to listen attentively to the recorded message from the Prime Minister of India regarding the campaign. As part of the program, the Viksit Sankalp Bharat pledge was administered to all participants, fostering a commitment to the overall development of the nation.
Simultaneously, the yatra featured cultural events presented by local artists. Throughout the journey, several flagship schemes, including Jal Jeevan Mission, Ayushman Bharat Yojana, Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Anna Yojana, Pradhan Mantri Mudra Yojana, Jan Dhan Yojana, PM Awas Yojana, PM PRANAM Yojana, and Urea Subsidy Scheme, will be showcased.
