| 100 Bottles of illicit liquor recovered by Police Station R.S Pura | | |

Jammu, Nov 26: Jammu Police achieved major success by recovering 100 Bottles of illicit liquor of 180 ml each in the area under the jurisdiction of PS R.S Pura.
An information was received at PS RS Pura regarding one bootlegger selling illicit liquor in the area under the jurisdiction of of PS RS Pura.
After this special police teams of PS R.S Pura led by SDPO R.S Pura Nikhil Gogna assisted by SHO PS R.S Pura Inspr Pawan Kumar and ASI Jang Bhadur while on patrolling duty at Cohalla morh rounded up a suspected person who was on his way from Chohalla towards R.S Pura. During search, 100 Bottles of illicit liquor of 180 ml each got recovered from his possession.
In this regard, case FIR No. 177/2023 U/S 48(A) Excise Act got registered at PS R.S Pura and accused person got arrested. The accused person was later identified as Abhishek Kumar@ Abhi S/o Sat Pal R/o Chohalla Tehsil R.S Pura District Jammu.
Further investigation of the case is going on. |
