RAMBAN, Dec 2: Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra is in full swing under the aegis of Deputy Commissioner, Ramban, Baseer-Ul-Haq Chaudhary in the district.
On the fifth day, theVBSY campaigned in eight more panchayats of Khari and Ramsoo blocks with the aim to reach out to the uncovered population to saturate the Centrally Sponsored Schemes.
Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra witnessed enthusiastic and vibrant participation of all stakeholders in panchayat Mohu Lower, Mangith, Bhordar-A, Neel- D, Neel- B, Neel- C, Bhordar- B and Neel- A.
SDM Ramsu, Ghanishyam Basotra, Tehsildar Khari, Amit Upadhyaya, BDO, Ramsoo, Dinesh Singh, BMO Banihal, Dr. Ismail Sayeed, TSO Banihal, Nazir Ahmed Wani, TSWO Banihal, Musavir Giri, ZEO Khari, Dev Raj, Branch Manager JK Bank Khari, Jugal Kumar, supervised multiple activities organized under the nationwide Campaign.
The Yatra visited in panchayats with the intention to reach out to the unreached population and making the general masses aware of the multitude of Government schemes, including the Jal Jeevan Mission, Ayushman Bharat Yojana, Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Anna Yojana, Pradhan Mantri Mudra Yojana, Jan Dhan Yojana, PM Awas Yojana, PM PRANAM Yojana and Urea Subsidy Scheme, the process to avail benefits etc.
Beneficiaries, who have availed the benefits of schemes and services, also shared their experiences under Meri Kahaani, Meri Zubaani initiative and expressed gratitude for the seamless services delivery.
People listened keenly to the recorded message from the Prime Minister of India, emphasizing the campaign’s significance.
The people showed overwhelming response and departments have registered them under various schemes to cover the unreached population under the Government welfare schemes to achieve saturation.
Officers and officials continued to inform people about Government schemes and interacted with people and motivated them to register for schemes and get benefits under various employment and welfare based schemes. The initiative aims to bring these transformative schemes closer to the people and foster a spirit of development and progress.
Block level officers and officials from line departments, PRIs, students and locals participated in large numbers in Viksit Bharat Yatra programmes in aforesaid panchayats.
