Awareness Camp on Labour Laws held at Bari Brahmana

SAMBA, Dec 2: Deputy Labour Commissioner Vinakshi Koul today led a Collaborative Awareness Camp on Labour Laws at Lupin Pharmaceuticals Pvt Ltd- Bari Brahmana in Samba District.
In a concerted effort to fortify awareness and compliance with labour laws, Deputy Labour Commissioner Vinakshi Koul, accompanied by ALC Samba Dr. Amil Khateeb and Labour Officer Samba, orchestrated an enlightening awareness camp at Lupin Pharmaceuticals Pvt Ltd in Bari Brahmana, Samba district. The collaborative effort aimed to equip both employers and employees with a comprehensive understanding of their rights and obligations under various labour legislations.
The visit witnessed the active participation of representatives from the Social Welfare Department, who joined forces to educate labourers about the ‘Nasha Mukht Abhiyan’ campaign, advocating for a substance-free workplace conducive to productivity and well- being.
Addressing the attendees, Vinakshi Koul, JKAS emphasised the pivotal role of adherence to labour laws in fostering a conducive work environment.
The interactive session, led by the trio of officials, facilitated an open dialogue, addressing queries and disseminating crucial information to ensure holistic compliance with statutory regulations.
Lupin Pharmaceuticals Pvt Ltd, renowned for its commitment to regulatory compliance and ethical practices, welcomed the initiative and pledged continued cooperation in upholding labour standards.
The collaborative efforts of the Deputy Labour Commissioner, ALC Samba, Labour Officer Samba, and the Social Welfare Department underscore a collective commitment to empower and protect the rights of labourers while fostering a culture of legal compliance and welfare in workplaces across the region.
