BJP leader’s statement lands Azad, Bukhari, Sajad Lone in embarrassing situation
12/4/2023 11:21:47 PM
Early Times Report

Jammu, Dec 4: Creating embarrassment for three regional parties of Jammu and Kashmir, a BJP leader from the Valley revealed that senior leaders namely Ghulam Nabi Azad, Altaf Ahmed Bukhari, and Sajad Gani Lone have proximity with the Saffron Party.
District president of the Bandipora unit of BJP Naseer Lone disclosed that the Apni Party of Altaf Bukhari, Democratic Progressive Azad Party (DPAP) of Ghulam Nabi Azad, and Peoples’ Conference of Sajad Gani Lone are “cousin sisters” rather “offshoots” of the BJP.
While celebrating the victory of the party in three states of the Hindi heartland, the overenthusiastic BJP leader said that instead of working in these parties people should directly join
“People should be aware that the Apni Party, DPAP-led by Ghulam Nabi Azad, and Peoples Conference of Sajad Lone are part of BJP. They are deceiving people, and at the end of the day, they're with us,” Lone said in a video viral on social media.
After Ghulam Nabi Azad floated the Democratic Progressive Azad Party (DPAP), Congress and other opposition parties dubbed his party as “BJP’s B-team”.
“Ghulam Nabi Azad is floating such false stories only to help BJP all over the country for the next Lok Sabha elections to damage Congress”, J&K Congress Vikar Rasool Wani said recently.
Recently former Chief Minister and president of the National Conference has termed Ghulam Nabi Azad as “BJP’s man”.
Defending his decision not to invite Azad to the meeting of the Peoples’ Alliance for Gupkar Declaration (PAGD), Farooq Abdullah called the former Congress stalwart “BJP’s agent”.
