| Four accused arrested under Arms act by Satwari Police | | |

Jammu, Dec 7: An information was received at PS Satwari through reliable sources that some unknown persons with sharp edged weapon were forcefully collecting royalty i.e Gunda Parchi from illegal mining mafia at cricket ground sum Toph, Phallian Mandal area under the jurisdiction of PS Satwari.
On this police team of PS Satwari led by SDPO South Sachit Sharma assisted by SHO PS Satwari Inspr Sumeet Sharma and I/C PP Phallian Mandal SI Ranjit Singh Chib rushed towards the spot and arrested four accused persons namely :-
1. Abhishek Singh S/o Kuldeep Singh R/o R.S Pura.
2. Ravi Singh S/o Bishan Singh R/o R.S Pura.
3. Harbax Singh S/o Kartar Singh R/o Chatha.
4. Sachin Singh S/o Subash Singh R/o R.S Pura.
During search one sharp edged weapon i.e Toka was also recovered from the possession of accused namely Ravi Singh S/O Bishan Singh. Moreover a car bearing Registration no. PB17- 9696 and m/cycle bearing Registration no. JKO2CD-9265 were also seized.
In this regard a Case FIR No. 263/2023 U/S 4/25 Arms Act, 506/34 IPC got registered in PS Satwari and accused were arrested.
The overall arrests and recoveries were made under the supervision of SP South Shaheen Wahid.
Further investigation of the case is going on. |
