Jammu, Dec 10: Inspector General of Police, Jammu Zone , Anand Jain,IPS flagged off special Olympics Athletes who are participating in North Zone Sports Event of Special Olympics Bharat at Chandigarh w.e.f December 11th to December 13th, 2023 in an impressive function from DPL Jammu this afternoon.
The competition is Organised by special Olympics Bharat Himachal Pradesh Chapter and special Olympics Chandigarh Chapter.
Chief Guest of the event IGP Jammu Zone Anand Jain, IPS flagged off this contingent of special athletes with warm wishes to bring laurels to the union territory of J&K .
While interacting with the Special Olympics Athletes the IGP encouraged them and advised them to participate in the events with enthusiasm and full vigour.
He wished them a very happy and safe journey.
The Specially abled athletes are representing JK UT in three days at Chandigarh and they will participate in sports ,dance, music ,medication and health check-up.
