Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra leaves lasting impact in Dongroo and Jatheli Panchayats

DODA, Dec 14: The Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra on Thursday marked its presence at Panchayat Dongroo and Jatheli, situated in Block Gundna, leaving an enduring impact on local residents through a comprehensive camp dedicated to the effective implementation of crucial government initiatives.
The event garnered a warm welcome from PRI members, frontline workers, and the local community, amid active participation from officers and officials representing relevant departments.
During the event, Certificates of appreciation were presented to the students of UPS Dongroo for representing Kho kho under 14 at Division level. Free medicines were distributed by Ayush Dispensary (AHWC) Dongroo to the attended patients. A large number of beneficiaries of different government sponsored schemes were present during the event and extended their gratitude to the Jammu and Kashmir UT government.
The Yatra kicked off with the arrival of the IEC Van, initiating an informative and engaging session. An introductory movie set the tone, followed by participants collectively taking the Viksit Bharat Pledge. Throughout the Yatra, officers engaged with the public, disseminating information about government schemes and attentively listening to beneficiaries' experiences. The community exhibited enthusiastic involvement, with various government departments setting up stalls to highlight flagship initiatives, fostering awareness and community participation.
The occasion featured diverse activities, including firsthand accounts from scheme beneficiaries under "Meri Kahani, Meri Zubaani," a quiz competition for students, and a medical health checkup camp. Department representatives emphasized the significance of various schemes such as PM KISAN, Vishwakarma, Suraksha Bima Yojna, Jeevan Jyoti Bima Yojana, Ayushman Bharat, Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Anna Yojana, Pradhan Mantri Mudra Yojana, Jan Dhan Yojana, PM Awas Yojana, JJM, Poshan Abhiyaan, and numerous welfare, Self-Employment, and income generation programs.
During the public outreach program, beneficiaries of various government-sponsored schemes expressed their gratitude to the Jammu and Kashmir UT government for the benefits received. Additionally, the health department organized a medical health checkup camp for the public, further enhancing the Yatra's impact on the well-being of the community. The event concluded on a successful note, with certificates distributed to students actively participating in the quiz competition, solidifying the Yatra's positive engagement with the local populace.
