12/14/2023 11:28:38 PM
Early Times Report

Doda, Dec 14: In a significant victory against drug trafficking, Doda Police successfully apprehended a notorious drug peddler identified as Sayed Ali, son of Qasim Din, from Raghoora Tehsil, Jammu District, under Operation PRAHAR. This arrest marks a crucial step in dismantling the drug supply chain operating in the region.
Sayed Ali was identified as the main source of drug supply for three notorious peddlers (Imtiyaz Ahmed, Yasir Ahmed, and Irfan Khan) arrested earlier by Doda police in December 2022 with a significant quantity of heroin.
Call data analysis and reliable sources led to the identification of Sayed Ali as the key supplier in this drug network.
Doda Police, acting swiftly under Operation PRAHAR, apprehended Sayed Ali from Jammu, disrupting a major drug supply route.
Sayed Ali’s arrest is a major blow to drug trafficking in Jammu and Doda regions.
It demonstrates the effectiveness of Operation PRAHAR in targeting not only street-level peddlers but also the individuals who fuel the drug trade at its source. Further questioning of Sayed Ali may lead to the identification of other key players in the drug network and further dismantle the illegal operation.
The Doda Police remain committed to combating drug trafficking through Operation PRAHAR. Their focus is on apprehending notorious drug peddlers and dismantling the entire drug supply chain.
By targeting both the source and distribution of drugs, Doda Police aim to eradicate this menace from the region and protect the community from its harmful effects.
Overall, the arrest of Sayed Ali signifies a significant success for Doda Police in their fight against drug trafficking. This operation highlights their dedication to curbing the illegal drug trade and protecting the well-being of the community.
