Kathua Police Holds “Thana Divas” to Address Public Concerns in Billawar

Kathua, Dec 14: The District Police Kathua organized a “Thana Divas” (Police Station Open House) program in the jurisdiction of Police Station Billawar today. The initiative aimed to address public concerns, build trust, and strengthen community engagement.
Addl. SP Kathua Paramjeet Singh JKPS, accompanied by SDPO Billawar Surinder Khadyal and other police officials.
DDC Member Nagrota Narayan Dutt Tripathi, local leaders, Sarpanches, Panches, and prominent citizens (over 60-70 participants in total).
Drugs abuse, illicit liquor trade, tenant verification, traffic regulations, and other issues in the Billawar sub-division.
Several grievances were addressed on the spot, and assurance was given for taking up other issues with relevant authorities.
To connect with the public, understand their concerns, and demonstrate police commitment to public safety and well-being.
Participants appreciated the initiative and expressed their gratitude to the District Police for actively addressing their concerns.
