RAJOURI, Dec 18: Government Degree College (GDC) Kalakote, Rajouri, takes a significant leap towards realizing the vision of a "Vikshit Bharat" (Developed India) with a dynamic tech symposium and oath ceremony.
The event commenced with the formal inauguration, marked by the recitation of the Vikshit Bharat oath, bringing together the college staff and students in alignment with Prime Minister Narendra Modi's "Voice of Youth" initiative for Vikshit Bharat @2047.
Under the leadership of the esteemed Principal, Prof. Seema Arora, a thought-provoking tech symposium unfolded on December 18th. The symposium focused on "Technological Advancement: Leveraging Technology for Social Good, Bridging the Digital Divide, and Promoting Responsible Innovation in India - Towards Vikshit Bharat @2047."
Hilal Reshi, a faculty member in Sociology, delivered an engaging lecture exploring the profound role of technology in achieving social progress. His address emphasized bridging the digital divide and fostering responsible innovation within India. Reshi envisioned a future where technology empowers communities, enhances accessibility, and drives responsible advancements.
The symposium witnessed active participation from the entire GDC fraternity, including faculty members and students. A diverse range of perspectives on leveraging technology for social good emerged, creating an atmosphere of intellectual exchange and collective passion.
The discourse at the symposium resonated with the vision of a "Vikshit Bharat" by 2047, highlighting the role of technology as a catalyst for equitable and prosperous development.
