Early Times Report
JAMMU, Dec 18: Kavinder Gupta, senior BJP leader and former deputy chief minister, has accused the Congress Party of being delusional and attempting to fabricate a misleading narrative about its performance in the recent Assembly polls across the country.
"The Congress Party is living in a fool's paradise and is desperately trying to create a false narrative about its achievements," Kavinder said while talking to reporters after starting the development works at Ward No 6, Cantonment area at Lower Belicharana, Jammu today. His comments come as a direct response to Congress leader Rajni Patil's claim that Congress secured 4.91 crore votes against the 4.81 crore by the BJP in the recent assembly elections. The senior BJP leader firmly declared that the Congress has been effectively "wiped out" from the political landscape of North India, citing the party's substantial defeats in the key states of Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, and Chhattisgarh. He emphasized that the people of North Indian has categorically rejected the Congress's outdated ideology and its politics of dynasty. "Their reign of corruption and incompetence is over," he added.
Highlighting the achievements under Prime Minister Narendra Modi's leadership, Kavinder credited the BJP's recent successes to Modi ji's guidance. "India has achieved new heights at the international level, and the country is growing stronger every day under Modi ji's leadership," he added.
With a confident outlook towards the impending Lok Sabha polls, Kavinder expressed his belief that the BJP, buoyed by nationalist supporters, is set to secure a decisive victory. He said under the dynamic leadership of PM Narendra Modi ji BJP is excelling day by day and public is vesting interest in BJP, result of that BJP is going to form next government at the Centre.
Later, Kavinder Gupta interacted with people and listened to their problems being faced by them. With a solemn determination, he assured them that he would raise their issues with the authorities sitting at the helm of affairs.
Among those who were present include Vinay Gupta Senior Leader BJP, Narinder Koki, Bharat Bhushan Vice Chairman Cantonment, Amrik Singh, Suraj Rana, Sushila Sharma, Amrika Devi and Rishu Kumar.
