IGNOU opens online portal for fresh admission for January 2024 session

JAMMU, Dec 18: Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has started the online portal for fresh admissions for the January 2024 session for the academic year 2024. IGNOU Offers UG, PG, Diploma, and Certificate programmes. The desirous candidates can fill the application form through online mode. The minimum eligibility criteria for UG courses are that students must pass 10+2 from a recognized university, and for PG courses, candidates must be a graduate from a recognized university. The last date to apply for admission through the online portal is January 31, 2024. Seeking applicants can access the IGNOU admission portal 2024 by directly following the link https://ignouadmission.-samarth.edu.in. Candidates aspiring for IGNOU admission 2024 will be able to complete their admission process on this portal before the deadline. Before filling the admission form online, a candidate needs to create a User ID and Password on the SAMARTH portal and be ready with a Mobile No., Email ID, properly scanned academic documents, photograph and Bank Debit /Credit/Net Banking for payment of fee. IGNOU has also announced the commencement of online applications for admission to the B.Ed., Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing-B.SCN(PB) and Ph.D. programmes through an Entrance Test scheduled for 07th January 2024. "For complete details on each program, including eligibility criteria, application procedure and other relevant information about admission to programmes through Common Prospectus or through Entrance, interested candidates need to visit the University website at www.ignou.ac.in and register themselves without waiting for the last date since this is a time bound activity", said Dr. Jai Prakash Verma, Regional Director, IGNOU Regional Centre Jammu in a Press statement.
