DPS Jammu bags top positions in VVM state level exam

JAMMU, Dec 18: Students of Delhi Public School Jammu participated in prestigious Vidyarthi Vigyan Manthan 2023 -24 State Level Exam (VVM) organized by Vijnana Bharati (VIBHA) on 17th Dec. 2023 held at CSIR-IIIM, Jammu. Out of total 119 students who appeared from various schools across J&K for this prestigious exam, 45 students were from DPS Jammu who bagged top 7 positions out of total 18 selections in State Level Exam i.e 40% of total selections were from DPS Jammu. It is noteworthy that VVM Exam is a national level digital based Science Talent Search Examination meant for educating and popularizing Science among school students.
The details of the winners are as follows: - Paras Gupta (VI-B)-1st position, Mohd. Umair Malik (III-F)-3rd position, Chirag Luthra (VII-D)-2nd position, Syed Hafsa (VII-C)-3rd position, Tarini Gupta (IX-J)-2nd position, Umaiza Khan (IX-F)-3rd position and Jagrit Rajpal (X-F)-3rd position.
Further, Paras Gupta, Chirag Luthra and Tarini Gupta will now represent J&K at a National level exam to be held in May-2024. All the winners were given cash prizes, Certificates of Merit and Mementoes whereas all the participants were given Certificates of participation and Mementos.
The esteemed Management DPS Jammu, President-RCT, M.K Ajatshatru Singh, distinguished PVC-Kuwarani Dr. Ritu Singh, Director S.S Sodhi along with Principal-DPS Jammu, Ruchi Chabra and staff congratulated the winners, participants and their parents. They also applauded their teachers in-charge, Navneet Kaur and Dheeraj Dewan Thakur, VVM Coordinators.
