| 07 vehicles involved in illegal mining seized by Jammu Police | | |

Jammu, Dec 18: In a quest to stern the menace of illegal mining, a multi-pronged strategy was devised by Jammu Police in which police teams of PP Jourian, PP Phallain Mandal and PP Pounichak acted stringently on the specific inputs and raided at a location in their respective area and seized 07 vehicles involved in illegal mining. Details of the vehicle seized are as under:
02 dumpers bearing Registration Nos JK02AS6599 and JK02CE1927 by Jourian
02 tractor trollies bearing Chasis number MBNGAALF2NRB00414 and Chasis No. MBNAAALXBKJF03880 by Phallain Mandal
03 vehicles i.e One tipper bearing Registration No. JK21F 6830 and 02 tractor trollies bearing Chasis Nos. MBNALAL TBKRD00405 and WYCF61930921878, by Pounichak
DMO Jammu was also intimated about the same.
The recoveries were made by I/C PP Jourian, I/C PP Phallain Mandal and I/C PP Pounichak in their respective jurisdiction.
The mining was done in violation of order of Hon'ble High Court of J&k. In order to strictly implement the drive against illegal mining and to tighten noose against the violators of the law Jammu Police has initiated strict action. |
