| GDC Vijaypur organizes screening of documentary | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, Dec 19: NSS Unit (KHIDMAT) of GDC Vijaypur organized a screening of documentary on 'Viksit Bharat@2047" to students and faculty members of the college. The documentary was a great inspiration for the students as the students came to know about the mission of Sh. Narendra Modi, our Prime Minister and his dream about New India. NSS volunteers and other college students participated in the documentary screening with great enthusiasm and zeal.
The documentary deliberated upon as how a Viksit Bharat would look like in 2047, what are the different goals that needs to be accomplished to achieve Viksit Bharat and what efforts are needed to be put upon to achieve a developed nation. Prof. Anita Jamwal, Nodal Officer, Viksit Bharat@2047 while speaking on the occasion stated that India is at a turning point in its history. The 21st century will be India's century as the country pole-vaults into the future confident of its capabilities. It is the fifth largest economy in the world today and will be the world's third largest economy by 2047, as its GDP will reach US$ 5 trillion economy with all the attributes of a developed nation.
