DPS Jammu's Aryan Mathur and Inaaya Gupta shine in UT Level Karate Championships

JAMMU, Dec 19: Delhi Public School Jammu takes pride in the exceptional achievements of its students, Aryan Mathur and Inaaya Gupta, who brought glory to the school by excelling in U.T Level Karate Championships.
Aryan Mathur, a student of Class V, displayed outstanding skill and determination as he clinched the gold medal in the U-12 years below 50 kg Pool-B Kumite event at the State Karate Championship-2023. The event, organized by the STAIRS Foundation, took place at the Sports Stadium, Bhagwati Nagar, Jammu on November 23, 2023. Aryan's commendable performance not only brought honor to the school but also reflected his dedication to the sport.
Inaaya Gupta, a student of Class III, showcased her karate prowess by winning the silver medal and securing the 2nd position in the U-8 Kumite event at the J&K U.T Karate-Do Championship-2023. The championship, organized by the Traditional Karate-Do Association of Jammu and Kashmir, unfolded at Bhagwati Nagar from December 7-8, 2023. Inaaya's achievement highlights her skill, discipline, and competitive spirit.
The esteemed management of DPS Jammu, including President-RCT, M.K Ajatshatru Singh, distinguished PVC-Kuwarani Dr. Ritu Singh, and Director-S.S Sodhi, along with the school's Principal and staff, extend heartfelt congratulations to Aryan Mathur and Inaaya Gupta for their brilliant performances. The management praised their dedication and hard work, acknowledging the crucial role played by their coach, Suresh Kumar.
The school management expressed pride in the achievements of Aryan and Inaaya and conveyed their best wishes for their future endeavors, emphasizing the importance of continued dedication and success in both academics and sports.
