Drug peddler arrested; approx. 190 grams narcotics seized by police 12/19/2023 11:27:24 PM Early Times Report KATHUA, Dec 19: District Police Kathua recovered approx. 190 grams of Charas like narcotics in the jurisdictional area of P/S Bani and 01 Drug peddler was arrested alongwith seized the narcotics on spot. On 18/12/2023 while receiving an information from a reliable source that one person namely 1. Amar Singh S/o Anant Ram R/o Budhghat Sandroon Tehsil Bani District Kathua indulged in Narcotics Smuggling in the jurisdictional area of PS Bani.Acting swiftly a police team of PS Bani headed by SHO P/S Bani under the supervision of SDPO Basohli during naka/checking in its jurisdictional area noticed the movement of one person who was roaming under suspicious circumstances.On Physical search, approximately 190 grams of charas like narcotics was recovered from the illegal possession of said person namely Amar Singh S/o Anant Ram R/o Budhghat Sandroon Tehsil Bani District Kathua.
