| Police nabs two drug addicts | | |  Early Times Report
SAMBA, Dec 19: District Police Samba has nabbed two drug addicts during surprise naka checking in the jurisdiction of Police Station Vijaypur and recovered heroin ('chitta') weighing 0.5 gms approximately and one syringe from their possession.
A police party of Police Station Vijaypur headed by SHO PS Vijaypur Inspr Sandeep Charak under the supervision of SDPO Vijaypur Rohit Kumar and under the overall supervision of Additional SP Samba Surinder Choudhary while on vehicle checking duty during surprise Naka laid near Thalori, signaled to stop Alto car bearing regd. No.JK21D-0947. The driver of the said car instead of stopping the vehicle, accelerated the speed of vehicle and hit with a Matador bearing regd. No. JK21D-6427 when trying to escape from police naka party.
The arrested drug addicts have been identified as Bhanu Partap Singh s/o Dayal Singh r/o Gurah Slathia, Vijaypur and Nitish Slathia s/o Ranvir Singh r/o Gurha Slathia, Vijaypur. A case FIR No. 184 u/s 279/337 IPC, 8/21/22/29 NDPS Act has been registered at Police Station Vijaypur and investigation started.
The accused Bhanu is also a hardcore criminal and involved in many criminal cases. |
