The event, held under the guidance of Prof. Seema Mir, the esteemed Principal of the college, aimed to foster sustainability and environmental consciousness among students.
The "Wealth Out of Waste" activity aligns seamlessly with the national movement Viksit Bharat@2047, envisioning a holistic and sustainable India by the time it celebrates its 100th year of independence. The initiative reflects the college's commitment to nurturing a sense of responsibility towards the environment and promoting innovative solutions for waste management.
Approximately 40 students actively participated in the event, showcasing artistic creations crafted from recycled materials. Through this, the college seeks to empower students to play an active role in building a greener and cleaner future. Prof. Surbhi Gupta and Prof. Arvind Kumar from the Environmental Sciences faculty coordinated the event. Prof. Arvind Kumar briefed the students about the role of sustainability in the present scenario and encouraged each individual to contribute to this noble cause.
