Kishtwar, Dec 20: In a decisive move under the ongoing “Operation 3rd Eye Kishtwar,” the Kishtwar Police cracked down on traffic violations, issuing challans to 45 individuals for offenses such as rash driving, riding without a helmet, and wrong parking in Kishtwar town.
Under the vigilant leadership of SSP Kishtwar, Sh. Khalil Poswal-JKPS, a dedicated team was formed to enforce traffic regulations. Employing advanced technology, including CCTV surveillance, the team documented instances of violations, capturing photographic evidence and conducting videography for thorough documentation.
The identified vehicles, marked by registration numbers Jk178956, JK179196, JK178979, JK178628, JK17A5815, JK17A1456, JK02BJ3238, JK178915, JK174629, JK170608, JK175034, JK176445, JK17A6208, JK174572, JK17A4863, JK174416, JK174570, JK172544, JK02CQ1176, JK02AQ6116, JK173691, JK173037, JK174420, JK179524, JK17A3668, JK17A1130, JK176019, JK17A1573, JK176877, JK170217, JK17A5235, JK173703, JK178851, JK174149, JK065617, JK174605, JK02BJ1054, JK177091, JK02BK4451, JK02BK3279, JK176551, JK17A4721, JK02BE6842, JK172214, and JK201613, were subjected to immediate challans.
Taking a proactive approach, the police ensured the violators were held accountable by dispatching copies of the challans, along with photographic evidence, to their respective residential addresses. The stringent measures aim to promote road safety and responsible driving behavior within the Kishtwar community.
