GGM Science College hosts awareness campaign on "Career Opportunities in RBI"

JAMMU, Dec 21: The Department of Biotechnology and the Career Counselling and Placement Cell of GGM Science College, under the patronage of Principal Prof. Rajesh Kumar Gupta, organized a comprehensive awareness campaign on "Career Opportunities in RBI." The session, conducted by the Human Resource Management Department of the Reserve Bank of India, Jammu, featured Shri Anuj Raina, Manager, RBI, Jammu, and Ms. Kannagi Lath, Assistant Manager, RBI, Jammu, as resource persons.
The primary objective of the program was to provide students, particularly those pursuing BSc, with updated information on job opportunities at the RBI and equip them with the necessary competencies. The resource persons elaborated on the examination and selection processes for prospective job aspirants within the Reserve Bank.
With a focus on creating awareness about job opportunities within the Reserve Bank of India, the session aimed to empower students for a successful career path. Fifty students actively participated in the interactive session, gaining valuable insights into the career prospects available at RBI.
Principal Prof. Rajesh Kumar Gupta praised the spirited participation of the students and underscored the importance of recognizing and supporting initiatives that contribute to the professional development of students.
The proceedings of the program were conducted by Prof. Nisha Sharma from the Department of Biotechnology. The event, convened by Prof. Devinder Sharma, the Convener of the Career Counselling and Placement Cell, witnessed the presence of faculty members including Prof. Surbhi Dubey, Prof. Pinky Chandwal, Prof. Arti Sharma, Prof. Sunita Thappa, Prof. Neha Sharma, Prof. Parminder Kumar, Prof. Asha Sharmhal, and Samita Sharma.
Prof. Kiran Bala, Head of the Department of Biotechnology, delivered the formal vote of thanks, expressing gratitude for the insightful session and encouraging students to explore promising career avenues with the Reserve Bank of India.
