JAMMU, Dec 21: GGM Science College, a premier institution dedicated to academic excellence, took a significant step towards fostering awareness for Viksit Bharat @ 2047, a visionary initiative aligned with the Hon'ble Prime Minister's goal to propel India into a developed nation by 2047, marking the 100th year of independence.
Organized by the College Team on Viksit Bharat under the supervision of Dr. Ashaq Hussain and in collaboration with the NSS unit, the program aimed to enlighten students about the multifaceted vision of the government. Prof. (Dr.) Rajesh Gupta, the Principal of the College, provided astute guidance for the event, emphasizing holistic development encompassing economic growth, social progress, environmental sustainability, and good governance.
The program commenced with a welcome address by Dr. Narinder Kumar, NSS Program Officer of the College. Dr. Kumar highlighted the government's achievements in advancing India and stressed the pivotal role of education in shaping future leaders who contribute to the nation's progress.
Keynote speaker Dr. Ashaq Hussain, the driving force behind the College's Viksit Bharat Program, addressed students, shedding light on the government's vision and objectives. Dr. Hussain underscored the crucial role of Chemistry in achieving the outlined goals and urged students to actively participate by registering and sharing their innovative ideas for the nation's development.
In his address, Prof. (Dr.) Rajesh Gupta, the Principal, reiterated the importance of youth in nation-building. He encouraged students to think creatively and contribute ideas to the Viksit Bharat @ 2047 initiative, emphasizing that this moment presents a unique opportunity for students to play a vital role in India's journey towards progress and prosperity.
The program concluded with a call to action, urging students to register on the Viksit Bharat platform and share their transformative ideas. GGM Science College remains committed to fostering an environment where students are not only educated but also inspired to actively participate in the nation's developmental journey.
