| Police conducts drive against illegal mining | | | Early Times Report
SAMBA, Dec 21: Continuing vigorous drive against illegal mining, Samba Police has seized eight (08) more vehicles which were being used for illegal mining in district Samba.
Police teams comprising of SHO Police Station Samba Insp. Daljit Singh, SHO Police Station Ghagwal Insp. Sham Lal, Incharge Police Post Rakh Amb Talli PSI Sohail Munir, Incharge Police Post Mansar PSI Shakti Singh, Incharge Police Post SIDCO PSI Anjum Hussain and Incharge Police Post Rajpura SI Hardev Singh under the supervision of DySP Hqrs Samba Bhishm Dubey and overall supervision of Additional SP Samba Surinder Choudhary have seized eight (08) more vehicles being used for illegal mining at different locations in Samba district and total two hundred forty three (243) vehicles have been seized for illegal mining during current year so far.
The seized vehicles are Six dumpers and two tractor trolleys.
District Police Samba has decided that illegal mining in Samba district will not be tolerated and drug mafia will dealt with iron hand. |
