GDC Mahanpur facilitates discussion on 'Idea for Viksit Bharat

MAHANPUR, Dec 22: The National Service Scheme (NSS) Unit of Government Degree College (GDC) Mahanpur organized a thought-provoking discussion session on the theme 'Idea for Viksit Bharat @2047: Voice of Youth.' This initiative aligns with the larger vision of 'Viksit Bharat 2047,' a comprehensive plan by the Government of India to transform the nation into a developed entity by its 100th year of independence in 2047. GDC Mahanpur's NSS Unit took the lead in organizing a discussion session to engage students in contributing ideas towards the ambitious 'Viksit Bharat 2047' agenda. This initiative aims to harness the collective voice of the youth in shaping India's developmental trajectory. 'Viksit Bharat 2047' represents a visionary plan that seeks to position India as a developed nation by 2047, signifying the 100th anniversary of its independence. The discussion session provided a platform for students to share their perspectives and ideas on this transformative journey. The event was conducted under the able supervision of Dr. Sangeeta Sudan, the Principal of GDC Mahanpur. Dr. Sudan appreciated the proactive effort of the NSS Unit in organizing the discussion session and encouraged students to actively participate in the vision for 'Viksit Bharat.' She urged them to register on www.mygov.in and contribute their ideas. The discussion session saw the active participation of 40 students from GDC Mahanpur. The students actively engaged in sharing their thoughts, ideas, and aspirations for India's development. The event was graced by the presence of esteemed faculty members, including Dr. Balbinder Singh, Prof. Rupalee, Prof. Suman, Dr. Nishu, Sh. Sourabh Dutta, Dr. Hilal Ahmed Bhat, Dr. Mohammed Sardar Bhatti, and Dr. Ajay Singh Manhas. The collective insights and contributions of the teaching staff added value to the discussions. The entire event was meticulously organized by Dr. Sapna Devi, the Program Officer of NSS at GDC Mahanpur, showcasing her dedication to fostering meaningful engagements among the student community. The discussion session at GDC Mahanpur serves as a testament to the commitment of the college in actively involving the youth in shaping the future of India. The encouragement from Principal Dr. Sangeeta Sudan and the collaborative spirit exhibited by students and faculty members contribute to the collective voice resonating for a developed and vibrant India by 2047.
