RS PURA, Dec 29: The NSS unit of Government Degree College (GDC) R.S. Pura conducted a Special Registration Drive on December 29, 2023, to onboard NSS Volunteers and other students. The drive, held under the patronage of the esteemed principal, Dr. Rajni Bhagat, and the supervision of Dr. Chanchal Angral, NSS PO, aimed to achieve maximum participation of students on the My Bharat portal, aligning with the recommendations of the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Government of India, New Delhi.
The drive witnessed active participation from students and staff members. Notable figures present on the occasion included Prof. Shifali Abrol, Dr. Rajinder Kumar, Prof. Jugal Kishore, and Dr. Vishal Sharma. Their presence added encouragement and support to the students registering for NSS.
The primary objective of the Special Registration Drive was to encourage students, particularly the youth (YUVA), to register on the My Bharat portal.
