GDC Bishnah's host successful Essay Writing Competition

BISHNAH, Dec 29: In a collaborative effort between the Road Safety Club and the Department of English at Government Degree College (GDC) Bishnah, an impactful essay writing competition took place on the crucial theme of "Sustainable Transport." The event aimed to foster awareness among students regarding the significance of adopting sustainable transportation methods.
Under the commendable supervision of Dr. Manohar Lal, the esteemed principal of GDC Bishnah, the competition witnessed the active participation of students, faculty members, and distinguished guests. Prof. Anju Bala, Prof. Rashmi Arya, Dr. Sapna Bhargav, and Prof. Kashab were among the notable attendees during the program.
The competition was rigorously adjudged by a panel of esteemed faculty members, including Prof. Rashmi Arya, Prof. Neetika, and Prof. Mohika. Their discerning evaluation highlighted the exceptional talent and dedication displayed by the participating students.
Tiwali Devi emerged victorious, securing the prestigious first position in the competition. Nittin Kumar demonstrated outstanding skills and claimed the second position, while Vanshika Sharma secured the third position. The winners were applauded for their insightful perspectives on sustainable transport and its pivotal role in ensuring road safety.
The event was not only a platform for healthy competition but also a crucial educational initiative aimed at instilling a sense of responsibility and awareness among the student community. The participants showcased a deep understanding of the challenges and solutions associated with sustainable transportation.
In the closing remarks, Dr. Manohar Lal expressed his appreciation for the efforts put forth by both the organizers and participants. He emphasized the importance of such initiatives in shaping responsible and environmentally conscious citizens.
