Early Times Report
JAMMU, Dec 29: Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra is reaching every nook and corner of J&K. In addition to spreading awareness on Central Government schemes, various "Jan Bhagidari" events are also being conducted as part of the programme. This was stated by Chief Spokesperson BJP Mahila Morcha J&KUT Ritika Trehan while interacting with people of Channi as a part of Viksit Bharat Sanklap Yatra.
Speaking on the occasion, Ritika said vision of the Prime Minister Narendra Modi is that nobody should be left behind and Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra will be helpful in achieving this goal. In that context, the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra has been organised as a project for the saturation of all schemes because the Prime Minister believes that 100% of the beneficiaries should be covered. This is the largest-ever endeavour to reach all the gram panchayats of the country. More than 2.5 lakh gram panchayats will be covered over two months with a van, IEC van, and several departments participating. Seventeen schemes have been identified for rural areas and 17 different schemes for urban areas, which will be the focus of this particular yatra, added Ritika.
Ritika said that the name of the yatra is Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra, so, it is a pledge that we will move towards a developed country. We will become a developed country and the word which we are using, the line which we are using "Hamara Sankalp Viksit Bharat" which means that we are committed to make India a developed nation. She said that the Prime Minister has been focusing on doubling the income of the farmers. Women have been a very special area in the Nari Vandan Bill which was passed by the government last month. Then, children have also been a focus area of the Prime Minister, with his interactions during examinations and throughout the year also.
A major focus of the yatra is on farmers, as the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development, they are actually spearheading this yatra apart from the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting. The Kisan Credit Card, how the kisan can avail credit, the use of fertilisers, natural farming, and best farming practices, how to improve farm yields, so, that will be a very special focus area, added Ritika.
Ritika further said all the schemes like PM Awas Yojana, the Har Ghar Jal which is targeted for the benefit of the women folk and children, they can participate in the My Bharat campaign, they will also be all part of this. We also planned to show some special videos for the children. We have created "Krish, Trish and Baltiboy" videos which are animated videos on the freedom fighters of this country. We expect that we will be showcasing those videos also through this yatra which will be a great attraction for the children and these videos are about freedom fighters who have fought for the independence of the country, added Ritika
Ritika also informed that there is a web portal which has been specially developed by NIC, MyGov, and NeGD. They are all working for this which is called Viksit Bharat Sankalp. From that people can participate, log in, upload photos, share experiences, and upload videos. Apart from that they will get all the information about the schemes from that particular portal. That all-in-one portal where all the written material, the videos, everything will be available and people can upload their experiences also, added Ritika.
