| Notorious criminal detained under PSA by Udhampur police | | | Early Times Report
UDHAMPUR, Jan 3: District Police Udhampur has booked and detained notorious criminal under the J&K Public Safety Act (PSA) for his criminal activities on the detention orders issued by the District Magistrate Udhampur.
The accused namely Ashraf Ali @Shifu S/O Jaleel Ahmed R/O Mani Tehsil Ramnagar booked for his criminal activities in the area for which a number of cases had been registered against him in the Police Station Ramnagar and Police Station Udhampur
The accused was notorious criminal and are continuously involved in a number of criminal act of Bovine smuggling, Theft and Bottlegging.
He has become a threat to the peaceful atmosphere and also posing great threat to the public peace and tranquility thereby forcing authorities to detain him under J&K Public Safety Act,1978.
On the directions of Sh. Joginder Singh-JKPS Senior Superintendent of Police Udhampur, his dossier for PSA was framed and sent for necessary detention orders.
After getting necessary detention orders Ashraf Ali was arrested by the team of Police Station Ramnagar led by Insp Sohan Singh and SDPO Ramnagar Vishal Manhas under supervision of Addl. SP Udhampur Anwaar Ul Haq. |
