| Police recover 6 grams of heroin, one peddler arrested | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, Jan 5: Continuing its drive against drug trafficking and substance abuse, Jammu Police achieved major success by recovering 06 grams of heroin from one accused lady in the area under the jurisdiction of PP Narwal.
A police team of PP Narwal led by I/C PP Narwal while on patrolling duty near Shiv Mandir Narwal Chowk rounded up a suspected lady later identified as Neha W/o Rohit R/o Rajiv Nagar. On search, 06 grams of heroin was recovered from her possession.
In this regard, a case under relivent sections got registered in PS Bahu Fort and the accused lady got arrested.
Further investigation of the case is going on.
Jammu police is working intensively to uproot the chains of drug supply in the region and thorough questioning of the accused is going on to know the origin of the drugs supply chain.
