JAMMU, Jan 11: Today, a crucial meeting took place at GRP Jammu, chaired by Sh. The meeting was attended by key officers, including Sh. Mohan Lal Kaith, SSP Railway Jammu, Smt. Albeena Malik, SDPO Railway Jammu, Sh. Naresh Kumar, Dysp GRP Lines Jammu, SHO GRP Jammu, and other officers from GRP Jammu.
The primary focus of the meeting was to fortify the overall security setup at Railway Station Jammu and all other railway stations falling under the jurisdiction of Jammu & Vijaypur GRP sub-divisions. Officers present at the meeting provided valuable suggestions and feedback concerning the security of Railway Station Jammu.
ADGP Railways Jammu directed all officers to brief the Nafri (National Academy of Railway Security) personnel deployed on the ground to remain vigilant and extra cautious in their assigned duties. The directive aimed to thwart any potential nefarious designs by anti-national elements and anti-social elements in light of the current challenging security scenario.
The meeting emphasized the need to keep a close watch on Railway Platforms, Tracks, Parking areas, Drone activities, and the possibility of Fidayeen attacks. Officers were instructed to maintain a seamless coordination with the Railway Protection Force (RPF) and other relevant security agencies.
The comprehensive approach discussed in the meeting underscores the commitment of GRP Jammu to ensure the safety and security of railway infrastructure during significant events and festivals. The collaborative efforts and heightened vigilance are crucial components in maintaining a secure environment at railway stations in the region.
