Veterinary Graduates Take Oath in Impressive Ceremony at SKUAST

Jammu, Jan 11: The Faculty of Veterinary Sciences and Animal Husbandry at SKUAST Jammu recently organized an Oath-Taking and course completion ceremony for 53 veterinary graduates of the 2018 batch. Dr. B.N. Tripathi, the Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor of SKUAST Jammu, presided over the event as the chief guest. Dean Dairy Technology and Internship Incharge, Dr. J.S. Soodan, extended a warm welcome to the chief guest and provided insights into the duties of the interns at various locations in Jammu and other prestigious veterinary colleges such as DUVASU Mathura and Khalsa Veterinary College, Amritsar.
Addressing the gathering, Dr. Rajesh Katoch, Dean, F.V.Sc. and A.H., emphasized the significance of the training acquired at different centers and applauded the achievements of the students. He motivated the graduates to work with dedication and sincerity in their professional endeavors. Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor, Dr. B.N. Tripathi, administered the Veterinarian’s Oath to the passing graduates, urging them to uphold the principles of veterinary ethics in their practice. Dr. Tripathi also distributed Course Completion Certificates to the veterinary graduates.
Congratulating the outgoing graduates, Dr. Tripathi wished them success in their future endeavors and encouraged them to stay connected with the university for their overall development. The ceremony also featured expressions of gratitude from Milan Sharma, Nandini, and Anjali Devi, students of the 2018 batch, who shared their experiences of foreign exposure under the National Agricultural Higher Education Project (NAHEP).
Dr. Ashok Kumar conveyed the vote of thanks, acknowledging the efforts of teachers and the support from sponsors Intas and Virbac pharmaceutical companies. The event was attended by Heads of Division, faculty members of clinical divisions, non-teaching staff, and was efficiently conducted by Dr. Ankur Sharma.
