JAMMU, Jan 22: In a significant breakthrough, the Police team of PS Domana, led by the diligent SP Rural and SDPO Domana, with the overarching supervision of SSP Jammu, successfully arrested a long-standing absconder, Rishi Kumar. The arrest was made in connection with case FIR No. 219/01 under sections 454/380 RPC of PS Domana.
Rishi Kumar, son of Garib Dass and resident of Rehsam Ghar Colony Krishna Nagar Jammu, had been on the run since 2013, eluding authorities and evading arrest. A general warrant under Section 512 Cr.PC was issued against him by the Hon'ble Court of Special Municipal Mobile JMIC Jammu. The apprehension marks the conclusion of an eight-year pursuit for law enforcement.
The arrested individual, Rishi Kumar, will be presented before the Hon'ble Court of law to face the charges against him as specified in the FIR.
