KISHTWAR, Jan 23: In a proactive measure against online misconduct, the Kishtwar Police has swiftly addressed an incident involving a minor who posted derogatory content on various social media platforms. Acting under the guidance of Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Kishtwar, Sh. Khalil Poswal-JKPS, an FIR (First Information Report) No. 05/2024 has been officially registered at Chatroo, invoking relevant sections of cyber laws.
The Cyber Cell of Kishtwar Police played a crucial role in monitoring and identifying the individual responsible for the inappropriate posts. Authorities have emphasized their commitment to ensuring the responsible use of social media and have warned that strict legal actions will be taken against those found violating cyber laws.
