2/19/2024 11:54:17 PM
Early Times Report

JAMMU, Feb 19: Senior BJP leader and former deputy chief minister, Kavinder Gupta on Monday said that the extraordinary scale and scope of infrastructure development under the Modi Government has established J&K as a major investment destination in the country.
In a statement issued to media persons, the senior party functionary maintained that the Centre led by PM Narendra Modi not only brought development revolution in the UT by launching huge number of development projects but it has also ensured that every project launched in the region sees the light of the day. He said that PM Modi is going to inaugurate number of projects worth thousands of crores of rupees during his visit to Jammu tomorrow, which is testimony to the fact that projects which are being envisaged for the UT are executed also with the same enthusiasm unlike the earlier regimes which seldom cared for giving things to people which were promised earlier.
He said that the monumental development which has been realized under the Modi Government is surely going to change the course of life of people as prosperity and good fortune have become new norms while violence and uncertainty are the things of the past due to farsightedness of PM Modi.
Underscoring the significant strides made in infrastructure development during the two tenures of the Modi government, Kavinder Gupta emphasized on their transformative impact on J&K’s infrastructure landscape. He said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, J&K has witnessed a surge in development, with a focus on enhancing connectivity, modernizing urban infrastructure, and bolstering UT’s economic foundation. He said that the completion of each development project either brings scope for tackling unemployment or it promises bailing out the people from miseries which they faced due to lackadaisical approach of successive governments in the field of education, healthcare, roads and bridges, tourism, etc.
The senior BJP leader reiterated the government's unwavering resolve to continue its focus on infrastructure development, emphasizing its crucial role in realizing the vision of a new J&K, which has become the first choice of investors.
“As the nation looks towards the future, the emphasis on infrastructure development remains a cornerstone of the government's agenda, reflecting its commitment to building a stronger, more resilient Union Territory”, he said and urged people to support BJP in the Lok Sabha polls to continue with the spree of development in the region.
