Youth Voices Amplify Vision for "My Developed India @ 2047" in State-Level Declamation Contest

JAMMU, Feb 21: Nehru Yuva Kendra Sangathan under the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Govt of India in collaboration with the NSS unit of GCW Parade today organized State Level Declamation Contest on the theme MY Bharat Viksit Bharat @ 2047 By the Youth For the Youth.
The Contest was attended by the winners of the District Level Declamation Contests from all the Districts of UTs of J&K and Ladakh. Youth Speakers from across the UTs delivered their speeches on the Topic.
Bharat Bhushan, Chairperson District Development Council Jammu graced the event as the Chief Guest in the presence of Nisar Ahmed Butt State Director NYKS J&K Ladakh, Sh Avinash Kumar Gupta Vice Principal GCW Parade and Nitin Hangloo DYO NYKS Rajouri. The jury members of the program were Prof Jigar Mohammed Retd HoD Jammu University, Dr Rajeev Attri NSS Program Coordinator, and Dr Gurpreet Kour NSS Program Officer GCW Parade Ground Jammu.
The youth speakers presented their views on Various factors involved in making Viksit Bharat. They presented very insightful speeches on the topic. The jury members evaluated the performances on various diverse and important parameters.
Chief Guest while welcoming all the participants in the event appreciated the initiatives taken by NYKS and the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports in J&K. He further said that success and failure are part of the competition and that programs like these provide experience to the participants.
The First Prize was given to ARSHDEEP KOUR from Jammu while Sehrish Khanam from Kathua was adjudged Second. Vanshika Sharma from Rajouri and Basit Ali from Budgam were the runner-ups.
Nitin Hangloo District Youth Officer NYK Rajouri while presenting Vote of Thanks said that Viksit Bharat is the Focus Area of the Govt and all are striving to make India Viksit Bharat by 2047. He congratulated the winners and appreciated the other participants who also gave their best.
The Program was held under the supervision of Sh Nisar Ahmed Butt State Director NYKS J&K – Ladakh, Bimlesh Kaur APA, NYKS, Jammu and Anmol Bajaj APA NYK Jammu along with Volunteers of NSS Unit of GCW Parade Ground Jammu provided necessary support to the program.
