NSS Unit of GDC Khour visits Govt Primary School Naryana

JAMMU, Feb 23: The National Service Scheme (NSS) unit of Government Degree College Khour visited Govt. Primary School, Nai Basti, Naryana on the 3rd Day of the ongoing 07 Days NSS Special Winter Camp. The motive behind the visit was to interact with the Primary School children and to make them aware regarding various good habits like maintaining personal hygiene, moral values, kindness, modesty, honesty etc. The visit was conducted under the able leadership of Prof. (Dr) T. K. Sharma, Principal and under the supervision of Prof. Himanshu Khajuria, NSS Programme Officer. About 42 NSS volunteers of the College actively interacted and indulged the children into various co-curricular activities like singing, dancing, playing games etc. Volunteers also inspired them with motivational lectures. Various stationary items (viz. pencils, erasers, color kits etc.), sweets and fruits were distributed among children. They felt very happy with the visit of NSS team and urged volunteers to visit school in future also.
