NYK holds District Level National Youth Parliament Festival 2024

JAMMU, Feb 24: In a remarkable display of youthful enthusiasm and intellectual vigor, the District Level National Youth Parliament Festival was successfully organized on the 20th of February 2024, taking a virtual leap to connect young minds from across District Jammu, Kathua, Poonch, Rajouri, and Samba. The Theme of the Parliament was Young Voices: Engage and Empower for Nation's Transformation. The event witnessed the active participation of more than 25 impassioned individuals who fervently shared their perspectives on the three designated topics: "Making India a Global Leader," "From Atmanirbhar to Viksit Bharat," and "Empowering the Future."
The esteemed jury panel comprised eminent personalities including Dr. Zakir Malik Bhallesi (Eminent Writer), Dr. Suresh Kumar (Academician), Dr. Humaira Showkat, Prof. Neha Goyal, and Sh. Vikrant Sharma (National Youth Awardee). Their wealth of knowledge and expertise added immense value to the event, providing constructive feedback and encouragement to the participants.Each participant eloquently presented a 4-minute speech, addressing one of the three thought-provoking topics.
The event was seamlessly hosted by Prof. Gurpreet Kaur, who skillfully guided the proceedings and maintained an engaging atmosphere throughout. The virtual gathering also had the privilege of the presence of the State Director of Nehru Yuva Kendra Sangathan Jammu & Kashmir Sh. Nisar Ahmed Butt. His active involvement and support underscored the significance of platforms like the National Youth Parliament Festival in fostering youth engagement and leadership.
As a gesture of gratitude, Nitin Hangloo District Youth Officer, Nehru Yuva Kendra Rajouri extended a heartfelt vote of thanks to all the esteemed jury members, acknowledging their pivotal role in making the event a resounding success. He also conveyed his best wishes to all the participants, recognizing their dedication and passion.
Looking ahead, the journey continues for the two best participants from each district, who will now progress to the State Level National Youth Parliament.
This subsequent stage will also be conducted virtually, providing an opportunity for the selected individuals to further showcase their insights and contribute to the larger discourse on youth empowerment and national development. In the end, The jury provided caluable suggestions and feedback to the participants for enhanced performance in future events.
