Early Times Report
JAMMU, Feb 27: Humanity Public School, renowned for its commitment to holistic education, recently conducted a series of counselling sessions tailored for parents of students spanning from Pre-Nur to 12th grade. The sessions, held over two consecutive days, aimed to foster a collaborative partnership between parents and the school in creating a conducive teaching-learning environment and ensuring the holistic development of each child.
Under the esteemed leadership of Gaurav Charak, Principal of the school, and Anku Charak, Vice Principal, along with other dedicated in-charges, including Akashdeep Raina, Parsidh Singh, Namrta Sharma, Vandana Sharma, and Shivani Sharma, the counselling sessions commenced with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp, symbolizing enlightenment and unity in purpose.
The serene ambiance of the hall was further enhanced by soulful presentations, including a kirtan and a bhajan by Pratham of class 3rd and Sarabjeet of class 4th, followed by a Guru Vandana performed by students of class 7th and 8th under the guidance of their mentors, Rajan and Abhilash.
Gaurav Charak, in his capacity as the Principal, engaged the parents in insightful discussions covering various aspects crucial to the students' learning and development. Topics ranged from the influence of behavioral and social factors on student progress to the impact of evolving lifestyles on health and academic performance. Additionally, concerns and feedback from both teachers and parents were addressed, ensuring a transparent and collaborative approach towards nurturing each student's potential.
The participation of approximately 450 parents in these counselling sessions underscored the significance of parental involvement in the educational journey of their children. The valuable feedback provided by parents further enriches the school's endeavors in crafting tailored strategies for student growth and success.
