Shri Lakshmi Narayan Mandir Management Trust prepares for grand Mahashivratri celebrations

JAMMU, Mar 6: The Shri Lakshmi Narayan Mandir Management Trust, under the leadership of Th. Gulchain Singh Charak, former Minister and President, is gearing up to celebrate Mahashivratri on March 8th, 2024, with traditional fervor and grandeur.
Addressing the press conference today, Th. Gulchain Singh Charak expressed the trust's excitement in continuing the age-old traditions of Mahashivratri celebrations at the Shri Lakshmi Narayan Mandir Complex in Gandhi Nagar, Jammu. The temple, steeped in history and tradition, will welcome devotees and visitors to partake in the auspicious festivities.
The celebrations will encompass special prayers, bhajans, and rituals dedicated to Lord Shiva, providing devotees with an opportunity for spiritual reflection and devotion. The temple complex will be adorned with vibrant decorations and illuminated with divine fervor, enhancing the spiritual experience for all attendees.
"We are delighted to uphold the traditions of Mahashivratri celebrations at the Shri Lakshmi Narayan Mandir Complex," stated Gulchain Singh Charak, emphasizing the significance of the sacred day in fostering community and devotion among devotees.
Charak extended a warm invitation to all devotees and members of the community to join the Mahashivratri celebrations. He encouraged everyone to seek the blessings of Lord Shiva for peace, prosperity, and harmony.
In addition to making requisite arrangements for the large number of devotees expected on Mahashivratri, the temple complex will host special programs including four poojas from 8:30 PM to 4 AM.
The Shri Lakshmi Narayan Mandir Complex, situated in Gandhi Nagar, Jammu, is a renowned historical site dedicated to the worship of Lord Vishnu and Goddess Lakshmi. It serves as a hub for spiritual activities, cultural events, and community gatherings.
Prominent members of the trust present at the press conference included Sarv S.C Rekhi (General Secretary), C.M Seth Prithviraj Vaid, V K Abrol, Deepak Gupta, Ved Verma, P.C.Gupta, Krishan P. Gupta, Kapil Slathia, Prashant Sharma, Prem Sharma, Jagjit Singh Jamwal, Ramesh Thakur, Brij Raj Singh Bhadwal, Indu Bhushan Sharma, and Pritam Singh Kulbir Singh Chib.
