DC inaugurates KDA Park at Shiv Mandir Kishtwar on Mahashivratri

KISHTWAR, Mar 9: In a momentous ceremony on the auspicious occasion of Mahashivratri, Deputy Commissioner Kishtwar, Dr. Devansh Yadav, inaugurated a Park along with the newly-tiled path and allied infrastructure at Shiv Mandir developed by the Kishtwar Development Authority.
The event, graced by several distinguished personalities, marked a significant step towards enhancing the spiritual and aesthetic appeal of the revered temple.
Among the notable dignitaries present were SSP, Abdul Qayoom, CEO Kishtwar Development Authority, Dr. Rishi Kumar Sharma, ExEn PWD Division Kishtwar, Ravinder Singh, Dy SP Hqrs Dr Ishan Gupta, AEE Sanjay Rathore, representatives from Shiv Mandir Sewa Trust, and devoted members of the community.
The development of the KDA Park, executed by PWD Kishtwar with an expenditure outlay of Rs 10.124 lacs, stands as a testament to the commitment of Kishtwar Development Authority towards providing modern amenities and enhancing the overall experience for spiritual tourists.
The park is strategically designed to cater to the needs of devotees who visit the temple throughout the year, with a special focus on accommodating the influx of religious tourists during the Shree Machail Mata Yatra.
The newly inaugurated park not only amplifies the scenic beauty surrounding the temple but also addresses essential facilities for the spiritual well-being of visitors. With meticulous attention to detail, the project ensures an upliftment in the aesthetic appeal of the temple premises. The tiled work and allied enhancements to the Shiv Mandir contribute significantly to the overall sanitation and cleanliness of the sacred site.
Dr Devansh Yadav expressed his gratitude to all those involved in the successful execution of the project. He emphasized the importance of preserving the cultural and spiritual heritage of Kishtwar and providing a welcoming environment for devotees and tourists alike.
