Ajay Sadhotra urges people to maintain amity, brotherhood

JAMMU, Mar 13: On the pious occasion of Mahashivratri, National Conference, Central Zone Jammu organized "Bhandara" outside University of Jammu, which was inaugurated by Former Minister and Additional General Secretary JKNC, Ajay Sadhotra, who was chief guest and presided over by Former Minister and Zonal President JKNC Babu Rampaul.
Provincial Joint Secretary JKNC, Ankush Abrol was the guest of honor. Provincial Joint Secretary Surjeet Singh Manhas was the special guest.
Speaking on the occasion, Ajay Sadhotra said we should respect all the religions so as to maintain amity, brotherhood and harmony, he insisted, adding that all the festivals should be celebrated together by people belonging to different religions.
Saying that unity in diversity is the key stone of taking Jammu and Kashmir to new heights disallowing nefarious elements bent upon to create wedge between different religions.
Sadhotra lauded the efforts of Dr Vikas Sharma, Zonal Secretary JKNC for organizing the function and Bhandara in a befitting manner which ought to inspire other workers to do so with full zeal and zest. Celebration of such festivals joining hands together brings mutual love, bonding and respect for one another, he added.
On the occasion, Babu Rampaul said that the present pressing circumstances have made the lives of people worst than hell and we should beware of such destructive forces which bring hatred amongst peace loving people. He reiterated the resolve of the NC party to put in backbreaking and painstaking efforts to restore statehood keeping the destructive elements at bay.
Besides, few journalists were also honoured on this occasion and vote of thanks presented by Vikshay Vashist.
