Missing minor recovered from Jammu, reunited with family: Reasi police

REASI, Mar 13: District Police Reasi recovered one missing minor boy (name withheld) R/O Muslim Mohalla Tehsil and District Reasi from Jammu.
On 08.03.2024 father of missing minor from W. No 7 Reasi tehsil & District Reasi reported at Police Station Reasi that his son, age 17 years age went to Baba Dansar Karua to watch a Shiv Ratri program and didn't returned back. All efforts were made out by the family members to trace out but the whereabouts of the missing could not be ascertained.
Acting on complaint, case FIR No. 45/2023 U/S 363 IPC registered at Police Station Reasi and search started to recover the said boy. Sensing the gravity of incident SSP Reasi Mohita Sharma-IPS constituted a special team to trace out the minor at the earliest. After hectic efforts and with the help of technical team, the location of the minor boy established in Jammu. A special team was sent to Jammu to recover the minor at the earliest.
Special team of Police Station Reasi recovered the missing minor from Jammu and handed over to his family after completing all the legal formalities. Further investigations in the case is going on. The family members expressed their gratitude towards Reasi Police for their arduous effort in tracing out the member of the family.
SSP Reasi conveyed that Reasi police is being regularly briefed to remain sensitive towards crime against especially minors ,further appealed that minors should remain aware of fraudsters who remain on mission of spoiling the life of innocents.
