Promising stars, moon won’t work as Congress badly lost credibility: Kavinder Slams Rahul Gandhi for using hollow slogans to hoodwink people 3/13/2024 11:24:17 PM Early Times Report JAMMU, Mar 13: Senior BJP leader and former Deputy Chief Minister, Kavinder Gupta on Wednesday slammed Congress leader Rahul Gandhi for using hollow slogans to hoodwink the masses. In a statement issued to media persons, the BJP stalwart said that after losing ground across the country, Rahul is promising stars and moon to people in run up to the Lok Sabha polls as he vowed to give Rs 1 lakh to poor women on an annual basis. Kavinder said that such bogus assurances are bound to face people’s rejection because hardly there are any takers for Congress’ lies as people still remember the cruel indifference which the oldest party had shown to them in its decades’ long rule in the country. He said that Rahul Gandhi finding takers for his party is a difficult task as Congress has long back lost its credibility after its leadership stooped low for satiating their personal vested interests. Kavinder categorically said that nationalist BJP has accomplished so much in making the country self-reliant and development-oriented in just ten years which the ‘corrupt’ Congress couldn’t achieve in its over 70 years of rule. He said that women empowerment became a reality only under the Modi Government because during Congress’ time, such issues even failed to find place in deliberations and discussions. The former Deputy Chief Minister asserted that people raising Modi-Modi slogans in Rahul’s rallies is the testimony to the fact that Congress has no takers and BJP is the first choice of all.
