FLNAT 2024 held at Poonch

Poonch, Mar 17: Foundational litracy and numeracy assessment test (FLNAT)2024 was conducted in district Poonch under the able administration, patronage and kind guidance of chief education officer Poonch Sh Bishamber Dass.
The FLNAT 2024 is part of national flagship program ULLAS-NBSK( understanding life long learning for all in the society )which aims at achieving 100 percent litracy rate for adult non literates.
District poonch had taken all the necessary steps to achieve results with flying colors.
A four tier monitoring system was constituted involving all the stakeholders of the department including team from samagra shikhsha, District level monitoring teams, zonal level monitoring teams,complex head level monitoring teams and cluster level teams.Chief education officer Poonch was himself leading at the front.
More than 8000 non literates appeared in the FLNAT with enthusiasm and great zeal and zest.
The non litrates from far flung areas showed keen interest and were involved in the assessment test with pomp and show.
All the officers of the department including principals, zonal education officers, district nodal officer, znos ,cluster heads ,HOIs and invigilators played their role with commitment, dedication, honesty and devotion.
The assessment test concluded smoothly and in a result oriented manner.
The district achieved more than 100 percent target and success as per the feedback of non literates, volunteers and civil society members. CEOPoonch extended vote of thanks to all the stakeholders particularly officials and officers from education department, non litrates, volunteers, media persons and civil society leaders for the grand success. It is pertinent to mention here that district Poonch is committed to achieve 100 percent litracy and will carry forward the task in missionary mode. Media wing ULLAS Team District Poonch
