| Former Sarpanch starts blacktopping of road in Kotli Shah Doula Panchayat | | |  Early Times Report
RS Pura, Mar 17: Former Sarpanch and senior Congress leader Badrinath Sharma on Sunday kick-started black-topping work of Railway line Patri village of Kotli Shah Doula Panchayat in RS Pura Jammu South constituency. The blacktopping of 1 Km of road will be completed with an estimated amount of Rs 15 lakh rupees, he added.
The Black Topping work of the said road was the longest pending demand of the locals , the locals thanked the Congress leader for keeping his promises ,the total length of the blacktopping of road stretch is about 1 Kilometer.The locals and the prominent persons thanked Congress leader for his efforts , as the said developmental work has been ignored for the last several years, the issue was raised by the local residents of the Village, when he was on Election campaign, and assured that he will complete this work ,and now the work has been started, this positive change is worth appreciating said locals. Sharma said that after becoming the Sarpanch of the Panchayat, he has continuously paid attention to the development of the Panchayat and today every village of the Panchayat has the facility of a Pucca road.He said that all the promises made during elections have been fulfilled and each and every link road has been constructed. He assured the villagers that the development works would be continued. He urged the government to prioritize the timely completion of essential road projects and ensure that the promises of development translate into tangible improvements for the people of the region. |
