NEW DELHI, Apr 9: Jaypee University of Information Technology (JUIT), located in Waknaghat, organized a one-day technical interactive workshop on April 5, 2024, aimed at fostering collaboration and enhancing technical education. Principals from various Government Polytechnic Colleges of Himachal Pradesh gathered at the university campus for this insightful event.
The workshop, spearheaded by Dr. Hemant Sood, Associate Professor, and Dr. Ankush Tanta, Admission Officer, along with the admission cell team, provided a platform for knowledge exchange, networking, and discussions on crucial issues in technical education.
The inaugural session featured welcome addresses from university officials and esteemed guests, including Prof. A.K. Gupta, Dean of Academics & Research, who underscored the importance of collaboration in advancing technical education and aligning students with industry demands.
Throughout the day, participants engaged in insightful sessions and panel discussions led by industry experts and seasoned educators. Topics covered curriculum development, pedagogical strategies, emerging technologies, and industry-academia partnerships. Prof. Shruti Jain and students showcased innovative projects, while department heads presented departmental highlights and interactive sessions on leveraging technology in teaching and learning. Government Polytechnic College Principals praised the initiative for promoting synergies between academia and industry, emphasizing the importance of staying updated with the latest trends and best practices in technical education.Attendees explored innovative approaches, including utilizing various labs and simulation tools, to enhance the learning experience and bridge gaps in technical education delivery.
The workshop facilitated networking and collaboration among participants, fostering idea exchange and discussions on potential areas for future collaboration.
In his closing remarks, Prof. (Dr.) Rajendra Kumar Sharma, Vice-Chancellor of Jaypee University, expressed gratitude to all participants and reiterated the university's commitment to fostering collaborations with polytechnic colleges and other stakeholders in the education ecosystem.
