District Cyber Cell recovered 9 stolen smartphones through CEIR portal

REASI, Apr 20: Mobile theft has become a significant concern in our society, affecting individuals, families and businesses. District Cyber Cell Reasi is committed to ensuring the security and safety of mobile device users thereby leveraging technology to empower communities and combat crime and minimize the associated financial and emotional distress for affected individuals.
The www.ceir.gov.in portal provides a centralized platform for Police and individuals to report stolen mobile devices directly to the CEIR Portal. Through this portal, victims of mobile theft can quickly and efficiently submit essential details like duplicate sim number, invoice copy, mobile missing report (from concerned Police Station) & identity proof and relevant details about the incident.
The CEIR portal is accessible to the public, empowering individuals to take proactive steps in safeguarding their mobile devices and represents a paradigm shift in policing methodologies, harnessing technology to promote efficiency, safety, and community engagement.
SSP Reasi Mohita Sharma-IPS appeals to the citizens of District Reasi to remain vigilant and report any suspicious online activities promptly on National Helpline Number 1930 or report stolen smart phone devices at www.ceir.gov.in and online cyber complaint at www.cybercrime.gov.in or contact District Cyber Cell Reasi official Helpline Number- 7051003220.
