Former J&K chief minister and president of Democratic Progressive Azad Party (DPAP), Ghulam Nabi Azad, a prominent figure in Indian politics, recently made headlines by opting out of the Lok Sabha race and fielding Mohammad Salim Parray from Anantnag-Rajouri seat as his party’s candidate.
