Some higher reaches including Tulail Valley, Sinthan Top, Peer Ki Gali, Zojila Pass, and Razdan Top received a fresh light snowfall on Friday, an independent forecaster, Kashmir Weather, said.
The Meteorological Centre Srinagar has predicted light to moderate rain/snow (higher reaches) at many places with heavy rain coupled with thunder, lightning, and Hailstorm at isolated places during the next 24 hours.
There is a possibility of light to moderate rain/snow (light snow over higher reaches) at most places with thunder, lightning, Hailstorm and gusty winds at a few places with the possibility of heavy rain over isolated places of Jammu & Kashmir during April 28 & 29th. Light rain with thunder at scattered places can occur on April 30, it said.

Farmers have been advised to suspend farm operations from April 26, while traffic on higher reaches including Zojila, Sinthan Pass, Mughal Road, and Razdan Pass may be disrupted due to the inclement weather during the period.
The low-lying areas can also witness water logging and there is the possibility of landslides and shooting stones on higher reaches. There is a possibility of a temporary increase in water level in river Jehlum and its tributaries and Nallas also due to rainfall.
